dear friends, three things this week!

Smoller nephew got a new toy from Brooklyn friends! A yellow cab! Teedo is only 10 months chonky, so he’s got no choice very good at sharing with his 哥哥.
Before doodling this, I went down a rabbit trail of the history of NYC taxicabs. Did you know that the yellow is specifically registered as Dupont M6284 (also known as Ford School Bus Yellow)? The more you know 🤓
a setlist
My favorite thing about preparing songs is the quiet moments with just me and Jesus. At the piano. Where He always meets me, sometimes in unsuspecting ways. Personal worship.
A few dozen of us are on an adventure to plant a new congregation. We spent some time this weekend recounting our journey thus far—how God has been with us at every step. Communal gratitude.
Though I may not see what the future brings
I will watch and wait for the Saviour King
Then my joy complete, standing face to face
In the presence of the Ancient of Days
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow
Blessings all mine with ten thousand beside
I will build my life upon Your love
It is a firm foundation
And I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken
a plant
The fiddle leaf fig trifecta!!!
Reminds me of this morning’s psalm:
You dug up a vine from Egypt;
you drove out the nations and planted it.
You cleared a place for it;
it took root and filled the land.
The mountains were covered by its shade,
and the mighty cedars with its branches.
It sent out sprouts toward the Sea
and shoots toward the River.
be well, friends!
love,
