New digs
and nearly imperceptible nubbins
This past weekend was action-packed. The whirlwind of Friday & Saturday included: move! clean! unpack! chill with smol nephew!
Things I enjoyed during the process:
scrubbing every nook and cranny
flattening emptied boxes
a fuss-free handover
figuring out new systems—for form and function
taking a few round trips of the 16-bus-stops between old home & new home that gave me time to ponder how in the world the Lord’s kindness and provision yet again has blown me away, above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined
making an IKEA list hehe

nubbins
Remember the tree I chopped up two weeks ago? Within days I began to notice nearly imperceptible nubbins growing from most of the bare branches. They are now large enough for the camera to capture it:
an album
The perfect jazzy piano vibe for unpacking. Beegie Adair is a legend. Enjoy her 75-song The Great American Song Collection from 2002. (thanks for the rec, cheryl 🎶)
a song
Kicked off this past Sunday morning with Sunday Morning by Maverick City, and continued with the rest of this playlist.
I know everything I have in life is 'cause of You
Where else would I run if I don't run to You?It's Your love that keeps me going
When there's breath in my lungs and a beating heart
All I can be is grateful
Thank you for reading, friends! Much newness this season—even smol bandmate got a new snare:
love,
reb
