Dear friends,
Four things this week—two that inspired me, two that I’m mulling over.
I. Milo
I like when friends like things.
Yesterday at church, Shi Wei handed me a sachet of milo van milo.
It’s not the same as regular milo! Milo van is much nicer! Have one!
She proceeded to pass out packet after packet, emptying an entire bag.
Just because she loved it.
Her joy was infectious.
II. Singing
We got to worship with thousands of folks this weekend with CityAlight.
Mostly in English.
And four newly-translated Mandarin versions.
I asked my dad what he thought.
It’s been a long time since I’ve sung in my heart language.
It felt special.
III. A Thought
We are limited.
God is limitless.
What then does faithfulness look like?
IV. Some Questions
What if we experienced the wonder of Jesus—not just once,
but every day?
What if Jesus wanted to turn our lives upside-down,
in order to make all things right again?
What if we loved the lost the way my friend loved her milo van packets?
What if we shared Jesus like that?
With all sincerity and joy?
As an overflow of deep, personal affection?
be well, friends! smol nephew expressing i think how many of us feel right now:
love,
reb
I love Jesus strong and kind! I have David to thank for that one. What a cool experience <3
