Dear friends,

I’ve known smoller nephew for twelve months now.

He loves smiling.
He likes to eat, sleep, poop (all my favorite hobbies too).
He is squishy!

His current aspiration is to walk.
But he is too chonky, too wobbly.
So, instead, he glides like a slug.

look at how he uses his big toes to pivot!

Witnessing this impressive feat of physics inspired my brain to wonder hmmm, can i animate this?

how a reb introverts on a sunday evening—sketching twenty-three individual layers of chonky nephew at twelve frames per second, and sipping rooibos.

The human body is fascinating.
The smoller nephew is adorable.
I like animating, probably because I have no idea what I’m doing except just to draw one line at at time, and there’s something so freeing in that.
